Studio Update Number 1: Demos and Bathroom Stalls

Only a few of the things that have been important in The Cast Before the Break land over the past few weeks. Oh yeah, and writing/demoing new songs. In fact, TJ is behind me right now, writing a really sick new track. “Jordan’s really Jesus. Jordan’s really Moses. Disguised, Disguised in a minor chord for Ben…Who’s not in the band no more. Do do do do do do do.” That’s just a sample.
Anyhow, welcome to our first blog here at WordPress (Which is obviously far superior to Blogspot or dare we even say, MySpace Blogs). We’ve started this to give weekly updates on the progress of our new album as we write and demo the songs, as well as any other goodies we concoct in these brains of ours. We’re a few weeks delayed on this, but here’s our first “studio” update that we recorded. Let me say again…That WE recorded. That’s really the best warning I can give before viewing our creation. It deals mainly with a bathroom stall, drums, and a baby.
We also played a very cool acoustic show last night with some good friends of ours in the band Sawyer. Good times were had by all, as well as good cookies. If you’re in the Oneonta area, make sure to check out Bluefield’s Cafe for their Saturday night open mic. Enough rambling, here’s said video:
Here’s how we count to 7! 1,2,3,4!
